My name is Edilania. I was born and raised in the Dominican Republic, where I earned my degree in Education. I am a woman of faith and a proud mother of two, Ashly and Jadiel, who inspire me to keep growing and pursuing my dreams.

As the eldest daughter and sister, I learned early on to be independent, responsible, and supportive of those around me. I've always had an entrepreneurial spirit and a desire to create opportunities for myself. These qualities have guided many of my decisions and continue to shape the person I am today.

Ashly and Jadiel are more than my children; they are my greatest blessing, my strength, and two of the most important reasons behind everything I strive to build.

Motherhood has taught me to be stronger than I ever imagined, to keep going through difficult moments, and to see every opportunity as a chance to create a better future. Every sacrifice, every long day, and every new challenge carries a deeper meaning when I think of them.

I want them to grow up knowing that dreams are worth pursuing, that hard work has purpose, and that with faith and determination, it is possible to build your own path.

They are my why, my strength, and a beautiful part of every dream I pursue.

THE PERSON WHO OPENED THE DOOR

When I arrived in Maryland, Vanesa, owner of Royal Vanity Beauty Salon, gave me my first professional opportunity in the beauty industry. She became my mentor, shared her knowledge, and helped me discover my potential.

We started in a different space, and as our friendship grew, so did Royal Vanity. Together, we experienced each stage of its growth, helping shape each new space until reaching its current location on Main Street in Laurel, Maryland.

Over time, Vanessa's trust in me led her to entrust me with the role of Salon Manager. I will always be grateful for her guidance, friendship, and belief in my abilities. She opened a door that became an important part of both my professional and personal journey.
